Write Idea: A Dysgraphia and Written Expression Intervention is a specialized curriculum developed by the Scottish Rite for Children to support students with dysgraphia and written expression challenges. Write Idea provides targeted, structured instruction to help students with:

  • Cursive letter formation (uppercase and lowercase)

  • Connecting cursive letters to write words, phrases, and sentences

  • Numbers formation

  • Supplemental spelling instruction aligned with the Take Flight lesson

  • Written Expression—parts of speech, constructing sentences, and composition skills

Write Idea Training
At this time, only the Take Flight-aligned add-on module is available to students concurrently enrolled in Take Flight.

  • Part 1—Curriculum aligned with Take Flight, Introductory Year

  • Part 2—Curriculum aligned with Take Flight, Advanced Year. (Anticipated Availability - Summer 2027)
